When you write well, your wishes come true
Welcome to Write Well Press (WWP) founded by Leanne Myggland-Carter in 2009. WWP's inaugral publication was a chapbook entitled elements, and being 2019 marks ten years since both the book and the independent press were launched, Leanne decided to create an anniversary edition of this collection as well as expand the press to include children's literature, poetry, and creative non-fiction by other authors. Children's Literature is published under the name bellaboo press, a division of WWP.
Books published and distributed by WWP are managed cooperatively by the editor and writer with 100% of the books' sales/profit being returned to the writer. Writers are required to complete stage one of the LMC Writes manuscript review process prior to signing a monetary publication agreement that includes print and distribution set-up as well as options to invest in a customized media kit, recommended promotion and sales listing, and literary community networking.
WWP titles include:
elements written and created by Leanne Myggland-Carter, Poetry Chapbook, 2009

As an independent press, WWP has criteria for acceptance, a manuscript evaluation process, and an editorial review prior to completing the publication agreement. Although WWP authors and poets are invited to comment on book size and design, the press reserves the right to original creative layouts. In order to expedite the publication process and set up book sales that are paid directly to the writer (as opposed to receiving only a portion of the profit from the publisher), production fees are negotiated as a part of the publication agreement.
If you would like information about submitting your work to WWP, please email Leanne with a 500 word description of your manuscript, a 250 word bio, and a statement why you think WWP is a good fit for you in the body of the message.
